Alan Ossege - Give Him Liberty, Well, Give It to All of Us

The first custom home I ever built was for a great guy named Mark Ossege. Mark and I became close friends through the job and after. We still eat noodles for lunch whenever possible. This friendship started 25 years ago, and about 10 or so ago, I got to meet his brother Alan.

Alan found out about the Fire Pit from Mark, and he and I email each other from time to time. Alan is a successful businessman in Cincinnati, OH, and he's reached the tipping point like so many of us. Overnight, Alan sent me an email that really crystalized what's happening. I was only partway through his email when I shook my head thinking that Patrick Henry had the same exact thoughts 234 years ago.

At first I was going to just copy sections of the email, but the more I thought about it, you need to read it in its entirety to feel Alan's passion, his disgust and his anger at the situation. I urge you to let those same emotions start to boil inside you.

The argument and offensive strategy is really much simpler; everything that's happening is essentially "unconstitutional"! In other words, we shouldn't get hung up on individual agendas of the Left, because "individual" agendas are nothing more than distractions in large quantities. That being said, everything that is happening is theft of our individual liberties to choose, or defer! And it's happening on a "global" scale.

It's a simple argument; and it's the same argument for most ALL their agenda. 100 arguments for 100 oppressive policies are waaay too watered down. They're ALL robbing me, us, everyone of our LIBERTY! One argument!!! One Rally Cry!!! Denial of our Constitutional Rights...Liberty!

And any politician who votes for ANY of this crap will be targeted by me as someone guilty of "treason"; consciously acting in violation of our Constitution! That is the topic of my soon to be mailed letter to all in the House and Senate.

We have +200 distributors of our products, all with employees, all with customers in the "construction" industry that I will engage in every state by e-mail and broadcast fax with names etc. of our elected leaders who have betrayed the greatest documents ever produced by man...the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, and just as importantly...our trust.

NONE of these policy makers have an OUNCE of experience in producing a product, turning a profit, developing competitive 'business strategies", managing personnel, etc, etc; and They're Re-shaping our Future??? Wrong People; Wrong Place; Wrong Time; Wrong Agenda!!!

It ALL comes center focus on our "Constitution" that Obama has stated needs to be "radically re-interpreted"! NO!!! They are ALL out of bounds and I'm threatening them with THAT as traitors!

I am not going to 'proof read' this so I hope my ramblings made some sense. YOU keep going!!! I'm doing what I can with limited "time".

Bingo. That's exactly what's going on. No wonder history is such an important subject. Remember what Julius Caesar is so famous for as a military leader? Divide and Conquer.

This is what Alan's referring to. Many arguments equal distractions which divide our attention and carve us up into smaller groups. It's what lions do on the savanna. They carve out a wildebeest or two from the herd and go in for the kill.

The domestic enemies of liberty are trying to do the same thing to us now. They've done a splendid job of distracting us. They've taken away hundreds of liberties. Think about it, each law, each act, just about everything that comes off Capital Hill restricts what you and I can do each day. That's exactly what Alan is talking about. It's that simple.

Yes Alan, Patrick Henry had it right all those years ago: Give me Liberty, or Give Me Death. It was a cage fight then with the King of England, and now it's a cage fight with any politician that thinks he/she knows what's best for you or I. I'd like to modify Patrick Henry's battle cry and use the words from the patriot who died on September 11 on United Airlines Flight 93:

Give me Liberty or Give Me Death - Roll It!

Yes, let's get rolling right now. It's the right time, we're in the right place, we have the right agenda and we have tens of millions of the right people right alongside of us Alan. I've never been more ready in my life.
