Congress Pay Raises - You and I Get Squat

I don't know about the verification on the above site,Tim, but I can tell you that American money is going to places, and we are being taxed in areas we don't even know about yet!

My sister is just back from Washington, D.C. where all the insurance corporation folks were supposed to be filled in on how all the health care reform is going to be implimented. After the first day, she said one long seminar was all the "new defintions" of everything including the definition of a hospital.

After the end of the seminar,yesterday, my sister was saying that it was apparent from the Federal Level, that the heavier burden of implimenting the next steps of the reform was placed on the states, not the Federal Government. She said the part of the matching funds that the states will have to come up with will bankrupt the states. She has no idea of how this is going to be done. She will be attending another Informative session shortly for the part II from the Federal Government in a few weeks.

Also, it is interesting to note that Great Britain is overhauling their Health Care System, and will be returning it back to Private Insurance, and Doctors will control what is needed for patients. A lot of Government workers involved in their socialized medical administration will lose their jobs. Great Britain thinks folks will be happier, and it will save them a ton of money in administration. What a novel idea!!!

I have pointed my friends to this post Tim. No one should forget what has transpired this year as the pandering for votes begins.

It is also no surprise that Great Britain is abandoning the government system of health care. It has been a colossal drag on their economy, as will be the monstrosity just passed here in the US.

The only way to avoid that route here is to repeal it, and repeal it now! We have an opportunity to do that before the Nov elections, but the move is hardly being publicized. There is a discharge petition in the House right now to force another vote on the recent health care bill. They need 218 votes to circumvent any interference from Pelosi. Obviously both the House and Senate are totally out of touch with what is really happening in our great country. If they were in touch they would not allow Nancy Polosi and Harry Ried to bully them into voting for bills that the American people do not support or want. These bills are being rammed down the throats of the American people by the White House with the help of the leaders of the House and Senate. The results of these bills will do so much damage to our country that it will take 3-4 generations to fix if we ever can undo the damage!

I would like to say, "You're FIRED" to many in DC--mostly Pelosi. That woman is SO arrogant.
Sorry. She gives me the creeps everytime I see her picture.

Having lawyers in DC isn't a good idea. They spend a lot of time figuring out how to get around the law, just like in the courtrooms.

Those people need therapy--spending therapy.

To get the idea about this party in washington right now, all one has to do is to have listened to the Howard Dean and Chris Wallace give and take on Fox the other night. Any republican that does not adhere to our constitution, Make it easier for manufacturing to begin MUST be voted out this November.

The discharge petition for the repeal of Obamacare is at 75% of what is needed to force another vote in the House.

Thanks Obama......give each member of congress a $10,000 raise but you can't give the Seniors on Social Security a 3% C.O.L.A. raise........another reason you will not get my vote.......and you can't be out of the white house soon enough for me.......and the Insurance is really a joke.....now we have to add that to our total income each year.....you Obama are a Joke...

I don't agree with a lot of what is happening now either but it's really unfair to blame it all on Obama. Our deficit was out of control long before Obama took office. I'm now independent....the democrats are doing it all wrong yet the republicans can't or won't come up with anything better. It really doesn't matter who we elect into office folks.....THEY ARE ALL ALIKE. Every single one of them. If they're not corrupt when they get up there they soon will be. This includes the tea partiers (come on Sarah Palin quit her job to line her pocketbook). How loyal can she be to any position? She toots the same speech over and over again. She needs a tape recorder for each engagement instead of exerting herself talking the same bullcrap. She's not smart enough to come up with anything new. We are obviously dumber than her or we wouldn't sit around and take their thievery. There are what 535 of them and how many million of us, yet we sit here like a bunch of cows going to slaughter.
We have threatened so long they no longer believe any of us. They laugh at the constitution and our stupidity. We are all a joke to them.....as they line their pockets with lobbyist money and send their kids to ivy league schools and take 80 paid vacations a year to exotic locations. The only time they want to hear from us is when it's election time....then they're your best friend, looking out for all your interests and want only the best for your family. After they're elected you can't get them to even acknowledge or reply to your letters. Wake up America before it's too late. I feel it's already past the point of no return.

Everyone seems surprised but think about it....we took California and Texas from the Mexicans and they're now dong the same thing to us. I say let's give it to them. They're going to eventually get it anyway one way or the other. This country is going to be a 3rd world country before the politicians are thru with us. They'll be happy cause they all got rich off our backs. The middle class is no more in America, no one has jobs so they can't buy any expensive cars or houses. Doesn't matter what they do with the housing market cause you're not going to buy a house if you don't have a job or you're worried you won't have a job 6 months from now. Why can't they get this? The Clinton's sent our jobs to Mexico. The only people who got rich off this is the Clinton's and their corporate buddies. So you see.....doesn't matter (democrat or republican) they are all alike.
