Health Care Bill Unconstitutional - No Doubt
You can compare the current raging health-care-bill war in our nation - some may use the term debate - to any number of past conflicts in our history. But war it is. Just like in war where each side tries to cloak its movements, the same is happening with those who've crafted this sinister and nefarious attack on the US Constitution that's masquerading as a piece of landmark legislation
My very good friend Roger Henthorn sent me a link this morning to an amazing blog post written by Michael R. Connelly, a constitutional attorney from Louisiana. Michael is also a veteran.
I'll not waste time trying to summarize what Michael has to say about House Bill 3200. Go read for yourself. It's chilling.
Rise up now. Grab your sword, pike pole, bow and arrow, knife, dagger, etc. This is the last stand. The domestic enemy is upon us, they smell blood and are nearly at our necks.
If your remember nothing else, remember this:
Take No Prisoners
I pray to God that good, constitution-loving Americans rise up and FORCE their voices to heard.
Tricia D. on March 20, 2010 10:10 AMRemember anything worthwhile is worth working for!
Raiford and I are ready to go. At 72 and 77 we won't be able to carry big swords but we can hold big sticks. It's time to stop speaking softly, we must carry big sticks. I do hope people will get off the golf course and the football, basketball, and baseball stands and realize that the land of of the free and the home of the brave is about to exit.
Edna Earle on March 20, 2010 10:26 AMGovernment took over our prescription drug insurance and my health insurance premiums doubled, Clinton taxed our Social Security and still Social Security and Medicare run by the Government are going broke so what hope is there if the Government takes over our Health Insurance. Less care, higher taxes & higher premiums.
HBD on March 20, 2010 10:27 AMI'm all for hearing what you have to say Tim. But "Grab your sword, pike pole, bow and arrow, knife, dagger" borders on being a dangerous and, frankly, a sick recommendation.
Greg Payette on March 20, 2010 10:33 AMBy reading some of the comments since you started allowing them...I'm not sure some of your readers won't take you literally. Is that really the type of person you are?
For me, I can't go to a rally. If I get stabbed my present $1000 monthly (family) health insurance provider might not cover it.
I'm okay with your fight. America was built by people like you.
I'm just not sure why you're okay with Insurance companies raping hard working, healthy people like me.
@Greg Payette Greg, have you ever heard of a metaphor?
Tim Carter on March 20, 2010 10:36 AMMy home state of Virginia has taken the lead in the fight against ObamaCare: http://snipurl.com/uydf9
Tim Maddox on March 20, 2010 10:39 AMMy country fellow men. We are witnessing the gradual distruction and fundamental transformation of America as promised by President Barack Obama in a speech as far back as 2007 regarding health care, as it would be done in his first year in office.
Richard on March 20, 2010 10:53 AMYes, there will be some if not many that do not see this my way, and I can respect that, but I ask those that do not, are you not just a little suspicious as to what we have all seen happening here in America already?
This president is bypassing and gradually assuming more power and control on a daily basis. It will become ever more apparent if passage of this particular health reform bill passes, as there will be no stopping this president nor this Congress from pushing more and more agendas forward regardless of the Will of the American People before the November re-eletions..as it appears quite possible there will be a major change in Congress. Can anyone deny as to why the strong push for all these new directions, so fast, so rammed through?
Indeed, this is history making, and I do not mean just health reform here, as I think most American want health reform...it is 'how' this is all playing out, with all we have witnessed, in just over a year.
Remember in November
you people listen to the republicans to much, all they do is scare people just like they did getting us into wars. they even paid people to go disrupt town hall meetings on healthcare. if something is not done now on healthcare ,nothing will be. republicans had control, for 8 years,do you remember them briging up healthcare reform, bush did nothing but got the precription drug program started and let the drug companys write the bill thats sucking the life out of medicare. this is not the best plan i agree but there has to be a starting point now. i think most people against this healthcare reform must have insurance, but you never know what day you might lose it,some think it cant happen ,but it can.if this healthcare does not pass, and your rates keep climbing and the healthcare ceos keep reaping these mulit million dollarpay checks then dont blame obama.
roy coleman on March 20, 2010 10:56 AMI'm not listening to the Republicans Mr. Coleman. I am living proof of this nightmare in Washington. We seniors have already felt the hit and it really hasn't begun its true destruction. All my 70ish friends are cutting meat products and pulling back on everything to survive this so called Obamaism.......You must be "well healed" or either asleep at the wheel. Obama's plan is to take this country down. Maybe Mr. Coleman needs a "Comprension course" to get this truth.
Marilyn Trice Fillingim on March 20, 2010 11:07 AMRoy, Stop drinking the Kool-Aid. Get real. We have the best health care program in the world. If we didn't, people from all over the world would not be coming here to use it. The government destroys everything they take over and if allowed, they will destroy the best health care system in the world. They don't have to take over the whole system. Just put controls over the insurance companies profits, and the pharmaceutical companies profits. In case you didn't hear, if this socialized medicine program passes in Congress, 50% of doctors will leave the profession. That's a great start to destroying our health care.
Bob Morazzi on March 20, 2010 11:19 AMAnd if that's not enough to scare you....go back to the Kool-Aid Roy, you and the rest of the liberal left. Or go someplace else to live where you can get government sponsored health care. Leave our great country alone.
Roy, you're railing on the drug companies so explain to me why they are funding pro-healthcare ads? Could it be the Dem's have sold out to them? While there are problems with healthcare, this bill is NOT the way to fix it!
Dave on March 20, 2010 11:48 AMTim, I think Greg Payette is right. If one of your readers does go stab, etc, the courts will not look at it as metaphor. There is precedent for holding you responsible.
Jean Ulricksen on March 20, 2010 11:48 AMI am writing and calling but stabbing, no!
The sell-outs that had voted no and changed remind me of a "humor", a man asks a woman if she'll have sex with him for a $1,000. She replies, I'm not that kind. So he says, how about for a Million? She thinks and says, ok. He comes back with, I don't have a million, how about $1200. She says, I've told you I'm not that kind. His reply, we established you are that kind, now we are dickering on the price. Obviously the sell-outs have a price and no real concern for unborn or what's best for our country.
Also, acting out of emotional anger gives others your power. Rational thought may be taken seriously, the emotional expression takes away from your credibility. (In my humble opinion)
Okay, all of you who want to abolish abortion? Are you going to be there to take on all the extra kids that you want to save? Having been a long-time supporter of that issue, the chance of that choice disappearing is appalling. The religious right didn't even identify it as an issue until women wanted equal rights under the law. Then, it became an issue. I don't want govt health care or government anything. However, I also do not want abortion taken away as a choice. I am sick sick of government intervention in most anything. What happened to personal responsibility?
Diana on March 20, 2010 12:23 PMI understand your use of metaphor Tim and like it actually, BUT the world is so nuts these days and the courts and juries so weird that you might want protect yourself. That's part of the problem with health care. The "health industry" always has to protect itself from ridiculous legal suits. People don't seem to be able to distinguish between medical malpractice and a bad outcome. There's always someone else responsible, never the person asking for the "payment". Also I do wish people would just state their opinion. They don't have to apologize for it. If a given nut doesn't recognize that it's an opinion then too bad for them. We been so damn beat down about everyone being equal in all respects that nonsense rules everywhere.
Kodys Grandma on March 20, 2010 12:28 PMto marilyn, let me tell you your not the only one cutting back, but its not because of obama,he didnt cause whats going on now,i think the 8 years of bush did that. to bob that koolaid thing is just chrushed me,yes we have the best healthcare in the world if you have it or can afford it. yes i agree putting on price controls would help, something that was tryed at the start of this debate, republicans didnt like that ,and they dont like anything. if you think that doctors will leave the profession, thats just bull and besides if they do thers plenty of doctors from overseas that will fill in well, one question why is it that so many people are going to india for surgerys now days.what this country needed was a universal healthcre, that covered everybody includeing congress and senators.if obama would have told them in the first place to come up with a plan and they would have been covered under that plan we wouldnt even be having this dicussion. and before you say you dont want what canada has let me say this is not canada, this the usa it doesnt have to be like canadas, but most peolpe in canada seem to like it pretty good. also you said mi was from the liberal left,i care about people ,the people that have no coverage, and pre existing conditions,as i have friend now who lost his job,in 2008,his wife had breast cancer,he paid 1435 amonth for corba in surance , till it run out ,now his wife cancer has come back, blue cross of tennesse has offered to cover him and his wife for 2735 a month,no job,how is he to offord this, but these are the people that i care about, and there is no socialism going here ,just a man that cares enough about the american people to try and help eveyone have insurance, you remember clinton tryed the right stopped it then and they may stop it again. if the lobbiest were stopped and the money giving, thats the only thing that would help,no matter which party is in office untill the money stops nothing will be done for the people.
roy coleman on March 20, 2010 12:30 PMAs an 'outsider' I am staggered by the depth corruption and evil at work in this process. Clearly, this is really about big, socialist government taking total control of the U.S.A. I'm still mystified how a majority could vote for this man and his party. He promised to "fundamentally change" the country. Did nobody stop to consider what 'fundamental' means? It means the core, basic values of something. I shudder to think what the U.S. will become when they are finished and not stopped, but this new system doesn't work. Look at Europe right now.
Craig A. Mouldey on March 20, 2010 12:41 PMIf you care about freedom, next time you vote for someone, make sure the candidate knows, believes and will uphold your constitution! They all swear they will, but apparently they lie! Isn't that impeachable?
One comment about insurance companies to keep in mind: it is a business just like any other. there are ways to get better deals without a government take over.
Indeed, everyone must fear conservatives going crazy like the '60s protesters did. For an example of how destructive we get, see the tea party participants, who carry signs, smile, and pick up their own litter when their protest ends.
Calm down, Liberals. We don't act like you did--and do. For an example, see the large SEIU thugs who physically attacked a conservative black tea party participant at a St. Louis townhall meeting in August of '09, sending him to the hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, for the Libs who are angry that the insurance companies and drug companies might actually make a profit after they've provided their services and products, do you really think it will all be better when bureaucrats and SEIU members (unionized government employees) control your health care rather than when insurance companies? Once the government has full control, which is why they're "kicking down the door" (as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said) with this "starter" bill, you will have no choice. There will be no competition. Just hope the SEIU workers don't decide to go on strike just when an epidemic hits the country.
If you Libs succeed in harnessing the drug companies and the medical device makers in a way that leaves them no incentive to provide their goods, then let's hope they've already, under our FREE enterprise system, made all the breakthroughs you'll ever need.

Roger Hamel on March 20, 2010 1:46 PMthan most of the rest of us, that has been the down-fall
of the ( know-it-alls ) in all of past history.
As Reagan once said, "they seem to have a tremendous amount
of knowledge about nothing"
I am a 53 year old independent voter. This means that, according to a lot of people, Medicare will be going broke right about my normal retirement age. My Social Security will be in jeapordy a few years later. I have a great insurance plan now and pay a ton of taxes to the Medicare systems. Fixing healthcare is very important to me and my family and I cannot support people that think the best solution is to do nothing, especially those that do it for political reasons.
I have not affiliated with a party or movement since I first registered to vote at 18 (or maybe it was 21 back then). I have voted in every election since then (and Tim you will have to believe me -- I am not going to send you the records to prove it). My vote and my opinions are based on my research and I try to read and understand both sides of an issue before taking a position. The August protests are what started me to seeking out sites like this one. I wanted to understand the Tea Party and "patriot" point of view.
I must say that after reading Tim's posts and the comments in this forum I am very UNimpressed. I see no meaningful discussion of specific issues and virtually no solutions offered. Just a lot of saber (metaphor) rattling and angry rhetoric.
I know that nothing I say here will get you thinking any differently that you already do. Many of you are very angry and hurt at losing the election in 2008. But also understand that independents like myself are not interesed in your rhetoric. We want an honest discussion of your ideas and some flexibility to hear other points of view.
John C on March 20, 2010 2:29 PM@John C.
You must not have read many of my posts here. I offer all kinds of solutions. Here's the Cliff Notes version:
1. Health Care Reform - Start with open competition across state lines.
2. Be completely fiscally responsible. NO deficit spending.
3. Pay down the National Debt
4. No earmarks ever on bills.
5. Follow the Constitution, don't try to modify it.
How's that? Let's hear what your solutions are.
Tim Carter on March 20, 2010 3:20 PMIt's unfortunate that you are so disheartened, John C. I think that in the following months the big picture will become clearer for everyone. For me, it has not been about the party, or anger at election results. As someone who has passionately defended patients' rights and quality healthcare in the healthcare profession, I am very upset about the repercussions of these decisions without listening to the majority of healthcare professionals in this country. I am also very concerned about the folks who do not have the money to pay for insurance, and become targets of the IRS, and the restrictions placed on health care providers such as doctors and nurses, who will end up having to tell people they have been denied medical equipment, and service, because it is not cost effective in the system. It breaks my heart to see the erosion of the benefits that patients on medicare once had in comparison today, and the increased denial of benefits that will have to take place shortly. Rationed healthcare will be on a level we have never seen. Unfortunately, John, that is not a threat. I only wish it was.The rules for healthcare coverage is now going to take a very dynamic change. Then everyone can make their own decisions for themselves. We must find positive to replace anger, or we are totally ineffective, and of no help to our country.
Connie Mahany on March 20, 2010 3:32 PM@ Tim
1. Open competition - aka abolshing anti trust. Agree. There is a bill to do this -- opposed by Republicans. But Healtcare reform needs much more than this. We need to facilitate more competition. Exchanges can do this. We need to get people that are healthy to buy insurance and in turn we need to curb some of the major problems with limited coverage. I like a lot of the proposals in the legislation that do this.
We need to facilitate a healther nation.
We need transparancy in what doctors and hospitals are charging, people need to pay attention to these costs, and there needs to be a mechanism to challenge the increases. My pharmacy published the actual price of the prescriptions and also what I pay. I mentioned before I have a good insurance plan so I really don't have to pay attention but I do. The actual price rises incrementally every 6 months. This is not right.
We need tort reform. Leaving this out was one of the huge disappointments of legislation. But I see no reason that it cannot be addressed at a future date if the legislation passes
2, 3 and 4 are very closly related statements and I agree with them all. They are not really solutions. Pay Go is a solution and has been passed. A deficit commission that would require an up or down recorded vote is a solution. This was killed in the Senate amazingly.
Deficit reduction must address Social Security and Medicare. We need to fix the completely fiscally irresponsible prescription drug legislation passed by Congress a few years ago. My guess is that you do not trust the CBO but they estimate that this legislation will help reduce the deficit in Medicare.
We can start to fix Social Security by slowly raising the retirement age a year or two over the next 15-20 years.
We can require our financial regulators to do their job and fix our financial system so we NEVER EVER have to bailout irresponsible "to big to fail" insitiutions or create TARP type funds.
We can improve our standing in the world so that other countries look at us as leaders instead of warmongers. We had this after 9/11 but lost it. We could build consensus against the bad actors and not have to go to war as much.
We can put our country back to work and therefore paying (dare I say) taxes insteasd of depleating the unemployment funds. This should not be by terrifs -- I'm completely against that -- but by developing cutting edge industries that only well educated and hardworking Americans can do. Start by building more nuclear plants.
Now Tim -- you had to bring up the Consitiution. This is the most wonderful document in the world. It is briliently written so that for every Michael R. Connelly you quote there is a Richard Greener that will have the opposite view. The consitiution belongs to all of us not just to the Tea Party. We have the Supreme Court with justices that have been appointed by all presidents over a very long time who's sole job it is to interpret it. It has been modified 17 times (since the original bill of rights) thru amendment and a process was set up specifically to modify it for situations that did not fit over 200 years ago. For you, the Tea Party and anyone else to claim that they alone are the sole interpreter of the Consitution is true hypocrisy. Stop highjacking the Constitution.
John C on March 20, 2010 4:53 PMTake it from me, a 24 year employee of our federal gov't, this is the bottom line: ANY time the gov't gives you something (or you trust them to give you something), you will receive half as much as promised AND it will cost twice as much as promised!!!
Jeff on March 20, 2010 6:16 PMjohn c. ican agree with you on so many points, but the one thing the tea partys or coffee parties do not talk about is companys and their lobbiest, all the money giving to get what they want, this is what needs to be stoped, this is what is destorying the american dream, all the jobs taken out of this country done basically done by slave labor, and we buy the stuff, remember this country is supposed to be for the people by the people, not bussines, stop the lobbiest and the money giving, and we will get people to run for office that want to help the amertican people not proffit. when people want to join some kind of group to do this, then im ready to bear arms to do this. as it is now neither party is for the people, all they want is tokeep dems and reps at each others throats. so right now we have to take what we can get for healthcare reform, because if not now it never will be
roy coleman on March 20, 2010 8:09 PMjust wanted to make a comment after watching a few of the talking heads tonight ,glenn beck, rush and some others ,people if this healthcare passes the sky is not going to fall, the sun is going to rise tommorow,so dont worry be happy ,well just work to make it better. you know talking heads are like these wreslers some like to watch0n tv people know their fake but they still like to watch,so goes the talking heads but they are getting rich,go figure
roy coleman on March 20, 2010 9:26 PMWell Tim it looks like the left loonies took their chief looney's advice and are swinging wildly at the last pitch to make an "impression" I guess. That does not say much for them. All the good Americans have been standing up all along and speaking out about the hypocrisy of Obama and quite frankly we are just plain tired of the whole stinking government and the lunatic libs out there who want to protect him. "Remember the movie "V"? Well I'm not a prophet but I am a betting man and I bet you that "WE the PEOPLE" will REMEMBER in NOVEMBER. And that isn't a metaphor that's a CAUSE. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND ALL ITS' RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE (which excludes baby killers, lying politicians and dishonest judges and all the rest of the liberal progressive over-the-top crazies)
Larry Manning on March 20, 2010 11:49 PMThe only way to get these politicians to listen is by putting fear into their hearts. Right now they have no fear. Fear needs to be brought back by whatever means necessary. That's when we get our country back.
Steve Dragovich on March 20, 2010 11:54 PMMr. Coleman....Obama is turning America into a Socialist Communistic Country..I must be considerably older than you....SO HAVE A NICE LIfE UNDER OBAMA "LOVING/GIVING CARE".....I am praying that you will wake up to the TRUTH....just do a little reading on how Germany under Hitler went down the same path... Obama is starting to take us on....

Our officials. Carole Shea Porter and Paul Hodes are saying Yes to the Health care bill that close to two thirds of Americans do not want! Let us remember them and all who are voting Yes this November!!!
Mike on March 21, 2010 8:03 AMmarilyn, just where were you for 8 years of bush and chenny, the lies and deception. now we have a president who is trying to help the american people, and he a socialist for wanting healthcare reform, which many americans need now, probably help you to.so much name calling out there right now.you said you would pray for me,pray for the people out here that dont have healthcare,or losing everything they have worked for all their lives. also ask god if its socialist communistic to want healthcare, for all americans, maybe you can get the correct anwser from him.
roy coleman on March 21, 2010 8:15 AMMr. Coleman, during the Bush years (I did not vote for him) I owned a small home accent store in a very small Florida town. It starting it's downfall with the 9/11 incident. Tourists stopped coming for vacations...the restaurant folded next door to me and I had zero dollar days for months until I went down too. The stock market then finished me off. I worked that store for 5 years by myself with a here and there day off finally having to close the doors. I am 71 years old and everything I saved for "the rainy day" is gone. I live in fear every moment that I cannot take care of myself in the future and I don't have the money to pay for a skilled nursing home. Walk in my shoes just one week and tell me what you think of my life. My car is 14 years old and that's another story. I have to agree with you about the Bush years there were 8 of them I cannot name one thing he did to better America..if you have some information that I don't please share. As for Obama I have seen enough to form my personal opinion. We seniors have lost any raises to adjust with the price increases we are having. I give thanks everyday that I was bred in a home of frugality and learned the basics for staying alive in hard times. Being brought up in the late 30's, 40's and 50's have saved me. I still know how to feel wholesome without any bells and whistles.. I sold a cute sign in my store that said "Simplify" I think most Americans are on that route...but the leadership is flying high. I have been both ways rich and poor lets see how gracefully our leaders take their fall.
Marilyn on March 21, 2010 9:08 AMmarilyn, being a few years younger i dont know all your struggles, but some i do my mom is 89 years old,and my dad is 88,both have dementia,i lost my job of 36 years,in 09,i have to brothers,we are trying to take care of them at home because of nursing home costmy brothers have jobs,so imthe one that takes care of my parents during the day,i cant even get out to look for a job now ,because if i do there would be nobody there for them in the day time,. i know you didnt get a raise on your social security, because of the way they figure the cost of living raises, funny it doesnt effect lawmakers raises. the whole sad thing about this whole thing is our seniors should be taken care of and the last thing they should be worried about is healthcare.,my dad raised me to pay for everything, and not go in debt,i am lucky, that i took his advice, and dont owe anything, but right now taken care of my parents, and not working, and paying enomous rates for insurance,is depleting my funds to. i dont think obama had anythig to do with losing your raise,he did try to get 250 check to of set not getting a raise, but guess who killed that. good luck
roy coleman on March 21, 2010 9:51 AMObamacare will only add to the devastating unemployment problem in this country. In my industry, medical sales, we lost 30,000 jobs in medical sales in 2009 as medical supplliers positioned their companies for health care reform. My job board, http://www.gorillamedicalsales.com , has a blog addressing the impact of Obamacare on medical sales jobs.
Steve on March 21, 2010 10:56 AMMr. Coleman, Well it seems you have your work cut out for you also...I have heard America has been renamed to the "United States of Alzeimers". Your job as caretaker to your folks.... well my hats off to you as that is not an easy job. Reward will come to you however as there is a universal law that "givers attract givers"....You have my best wishes for the care you are giving them. I also have no debt so that is a blessing to us both. We have a lot to be grateful. Have a nice day. Marilyn
Marilyn on March 21, 2010 11:02 AMFor my fellow seniors, who have an attitude about Social Security and Medicare, Where would we be if the "All Saving Republicans" had gotten their wish and privatized the system. anderson maponyane on March 21, 2010 2:46 PMThis is a nightmare ! What is happening to this country just sickens me to no end. I have to blame a good deal of this mess on republicans for allowing the dems to gain the power that they now have. Remember 1994 ? And then they totally blew it with scandals and reach across types like McCain Gingrich and Graham. There is no room for these types. And the corruption has continued to eat away with guys like Ensign, Stevens, Craig, Delay and others. They have no honor thus have turned this country over to radicals. Until there is honor ( if it is not too late ) we will be "ruled" by radical leftists. Wake up America !
Chris Long on March 21, 2010 5:09 PMDear Tim,
In reading your messages, I feel how strongly opposed you are for the Chicago Style corruption taking place in our government and I felt your comments to these posts demonstrated composure. too have been VERY surprised by how nonchalant (or completely unaware!) the general public has been about the war brewing in our midst.
Hang in there though, for God opens our individual hearts and minds in his time for us individually. While he speaks to those of us with like minds now, he will speak to others when the time is right for them. Keep up the good work, we all need a messenger during all phases of this fight.
We’re all calling everyone in congress and although MANY congressional voice mail boxes are full, faxes are still getting through!
By the way, are you aware that there is a petition circulating to preserve the freedom of Ohioans to choose their health care coverage in the event the rotten law is passed? You may have similar petitions circulating in your new home state of NH.
Never Ever stop protecting our liberty.

Richard Coppola on March 26, 2010 6:36 AMI am struggling to find almost on a daily basis what is happening to my country. The Progressive marathon continues with elitist, bitterness and hostility for next up in Washington (in my opinion) will be another hotly debated, Illegal Immigration issue, which will further divide our nation into bitter camps...Flamed by a Liberal Media, the attacks will come as we will surely see immerge the ugly word 'Race'(again), with any and all who have different opinions....Another 'Crisis' born, another Social Justice Issue. We are indeed being tested as a nation.
Can anyone here, see any other time in our 'RECENT' history a more volatile one?...Even Vietnam did not divided us as much as now you think? Civility is absent
The prophesy of President Barack Obama of 'fundamental change', is becoming a reality, as step by step backed by a totally in control Progressive Mind Set Congress, they are transforming our country from one not grounded in our Constitution...but into something else, with our Individual Liberties and Freedoms, eroding daily and morphing into a government intrusion into all our lives.
The fringe elements of both camps are appearing...as we are witnessing now and exploited by the Liberal major media, who lump any/all who oppose the machines advance, will be labeled Racist, Terrorist ext....as 'they' fail to show the vast number of Americans who are honest and caring people who only want their voices heard.
Also, Later this year will come another Crisis...Cap & Trade further burying us all in debt.
Through all these very difficult times, the Truth and the Will of the American People will win out, not with bullets and words, but in the VOTE.
These words written in 1776 by Thomas Paine appear to be reborn again "These Are The Times That Test Mens Souls"
3/28/2010...The Step By Step process Continues.
This is what the American people voted to be the most powerful man in the world...I have never seen a more arrogant, self righteous president who basically has told any and all he does not give one dam what anybody thinks or wants if 'He' does not want it...Sounds more like a King To Me.
The only way to stop this madness is the Republican Party must prevail in such a way as to control CONGRESS in House and Senate in the up coming re-elections...For as it is now, there are no checks and balances...there is only total Control by one Democratic Party and the most Left Leaning president this country has ever seen. President Obama will still be around for 2 more years...but at least a new Congress will be able to slow this self appointed KING's rush to destroy and takeover America. We all know the 'bond' Obama has with Andy Stern, Head of SEIU, with over 28 visits to the White House and which will be on the up coming jobs committee this Fall. This man IS A RADICLE...simply look him up yourselves.
Now you add two highly sympathetic Union Lawyers into the administration, and you have additional power to basically dictate how any business can operate if unionized...Just look at the part unions contributed in some of the destruction of GM...and we all know of the special deal President Barack Obama made for the Union as members will pay nothing into this new Health Reform Bill for years....Talk about payback....the in our faces...basically saying 'So What...We One. NO secrete UNION BALLOT...Talk about Power and Control!...With what has already happened and is happening in this country....is there concern?
Richard Coppola on March 28, 2010 4:34 AMIt truly is frightening.
mr.coppola,it sounds like you are talking about bush, saying arroagant, self righteous, but i guess your talking about obama because you think if you get a rep. back in office things would be just great. if your well of i guess you might be right, more tax breaks for the rich, and bussiness. why are you so against unions, their the only voice working people have, unions wasnt the down fall of gm it was mangement, ceo's sucking the company dry. you must own a bussiness and treat your workers like crap. i used to work for a company like that ,and their name was paccar, the ceo of that company is truly an ass.if you get rep. back in office what are they going to do for you? we now have a president in office that wants the american people to have something called healthcare reform. what a bad thing.but rep. are sure not aganist sending your tax money to every country in the world, but you are so against taking care of our own people first go figure
roy coleman on March 28, 2010 7:11 PMby now you see that all the tea partyers are wanting their attonery generals mosting in rep. states,to sue the federal goverment over this new healthcare bill. my state of tennessee is being pushed by the tea partyers and rep. running for govener. if they want to sue let them use their own money dont use my taxpayer dollars to file a law suit,a big waste of money.
roy coleman on March 31, 2010 6:19 PMi am truly dismayed that no one appreciates that the mess we are now in was brought about by the former administration...we can argue forever and those fat cats responsible are home on their million dollar estate and ranches...do you think they hurt for anything?...
