New Gingrich and the Non-Rotarians

Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, gave a stirring speech at a Rotary Club function recently. It was within the past six weeks or so, because Newt mentions the terrorist act that happened in Ft. Hood.

The video below is really worth watching. The only trouble I had was with the first 90 seconds, as this past summer I read The Housing Boom and Bust, by Thomas Sowell. I wondered if Newt had ever voted Yes on any of the bills that were part of the Affordable Housing Crusade that was a primary cause of the economic crisis that happened in the fall of 2008.

There are many profound parts of this speech, but pay attention to what Newt says about Jefferson and Madison. I want to know if you're one of the people that can join the battle in one of the 513,000 public offices he mentions. I've decided to do it. I'm running next November as a State of New Hampshire representative. I've not yet decided whether to run for the House or the Senate. If you can't run for office, then by gosh go find out who really wants to take our country away from the desecrators and support them.
